Browse for support
We have had many organisations booking a table for the 'marketplace' at the events. You will find a very wide representation on each of the days of local and community groups and organisations to talk to. Here is just a flavour: Mind/Response, Leonard Cheshire Disability, Advance UK Brokers, Ryder-Cheshire Volunteers, Volunteer LinkUp, the Oxfordshire Carers Forum, WRVS, Guideposts Trust, Age UK brokers, Oxfordshire LINk, Mencap - too many to list.
Attend a talk
There will also be short, informal talks you can attend:
- What is personalisation about?
- How to make a support plan
- A dedicated session about personalisation and support planning for people with Learning Disabilities and their carers
Have a chat
If you would like to talk to someone about your questions, there will be support brokers and Adult Social Care staff available to have a conversation with over a cup of tea or coffee. For instance, if you went to one of the talks and would like to have a chat about your own circumstances with someone.
The days will have a friendly and informal character, and we hope this will help people find information and answers to questions in a pleasant environment.
