PM shows interest in OBE
The service provided by OBE attracted the interest of the Prime Minister when he called into the Carterton Job Club. Adviser Bernard Goodchild explained how the volunteer advisers provide face-to-face support to help around 500 residents each year to consider starting their own business, and to develop through the early stages. With its low costs and extremely high satisfaction rate, OBE may well provide a model for the Government's ambition to promote enterprise nationally.
