The Environmental Information Exchange (EiE)

Resource efficiency is good for business and good for the environment, and the ideal time to optimise resource use is when setting up your business. The Environmental Information Exchange (EiE) www.brookes.ac.uk/EiE is a not-for-profit group based at Oxford Brookes University that has been supporting the environmental efforts of organisations of all sizes and sectors in Oxfordshire and South East England since 1998. EiE’s website provides practical environmental information on a variety of topics as well as local contacts. EiE has been developing and presenting workshops since 1999. In recent years, EiE has also provided on-site surveys, identifying and reporting on specific, practical ways to reduce waste and increase energy efficiency. In these ways, EiE has helped over 1,000 businesses reduce both their costs and their environmental impacts.
